I may have jumped the gun
I think I had a Jason Blair moment yesterday. It seems I inadvertently started a wildfire of false rumor in BucksNation that the Bucks were on the verge of signing Yi.
Here's how it happened. I was waiting to watch the David Stern news conference on ESPN when Sage Steele had a quick piece on ESPN's First Take regarding the news that Yi's Chinese handlers announced that he would play for the Bucks next season. That news is confirmed by the Chinese Associated Press. But, I think I may have hastily misconstrued the entirety of the report, which also said, as I recall, that Larry Harris would have his second meeting with Yi's representatives. I lept to the conclusion that a signing was imminent. Since no one else seems to have heard or concluded the same thing, I was clearly wrong, or at least wishful in my thinking. It does seem, however, a fait accompli that Yi will sign with the Bucks, but if I misled anyone into believing that would happen yesterday, I am sorry, and will try to be a little more diligent and patient in the future.

Mea culpa, mea culpa.
My post wasn't in any way influenced for yours, I got excited all on my own.
I wish some real news would furnish itself sometime soon regarding this conflict.

Larry Harris was on WSSP yesterday. Said no new developments on the Yi front. Cut through internet rumors. Also said no trip to China is planned. Said he may go to China in the future, but nothing imminent.
Larry also said that no one from the Bucks has talked to Yi since the Las Vegas meeting. They must only talk through Fegan and are not allowed to call Yi personally.
Sounded like things are at a stalemate with no new developments.
I think its just a matter of time now before Yi signs. If Yi and his people have genuinely decided that it is in his best interests to play for the Bucks, there shouldn't be much more to do, given the NBA's rookie salary slotting system.
That said, I have learned my lesson on this matter. The only reason I was sloppy was that I truly thought I was behind the curve on this rumor, so I didn't take the time to find alternative confirmation, but will in the future.
Moreover I think this incident has shown that all these print reporters who claim the internet is just a useless breeding ground for baseless rumors are tilting at windmills. There is a very strong self-policing element in place that, as it showed on Monday, keeps everything on the up-and-up, and I'm glad for that.
It was a good April Fool's joke. I didn't believe it when I saw it, anyway. I'm too used to Internet rumors, I guess.
No worries.
Still enjoy your blog. :-)
Off topic, but the JS is reporting that Mo Williams had his car broken into. The guy commits himself to a city that is being derided constantly in the media and this is the thanks he gets. Disgraceful.

Please check it out. I already have a link to yours and I'd like for you to do the same if you like it.
As for Yi, I think he'll end up playing in Milwaukee this season. There is a long time before the season starts.
You're done. Frank rules!

Good day, sun shines!
There have been times of troubles when I felt unhappy missing knowledge about opportunities of getting high yields on investments. I was a dump and downright pessimistic person.
I have never imagined that there weren't any need in big starting capital.
Nowadays, I feel good, I begin to get real income.
It gets down to select a correct companion who uses your money in a right way - that is incorporate it in real deals, and shares the income with me.
You may ask, if there are such firms? I have to answer the truth, YES, there are. Please be informed of one of them:
